Frequently asked questions
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a regenerative treatment that uses a concentrated sample of your own blood to stimulate healing and collagen production. By isolating the growth factors in your plasma and injecting them into targeted areas, we trigger your body’s natural ability to repair tissue, improve skin texture, and restore youthful volume without the use of synthetic fillers.
To achieve the most brilliant results at our Metairie med spa, we recommend having a professional dental cleaning within six months of your visit. For 24 hours following your session, we suggest a "white diet" (avoiding coffee, red wine, or dark sauces) to lock in your new, confident smile.
Structural Facial Balancing is an advanced, holistic approach to medical aesthetics that focuses on the harmony of the entire face rather than a single feature. By strategically using dermal fillers to support the "anchor points" of the face—such as the jawline, chin, and cheeks—we restore youthful proportions and correct asymmetry. The result is a more balanced, refreshed profile that looks completely natural and honors your unique anatomy.
Morpheus8 is a premier fractional skin treatment available at our Metairie clinic that combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy. By delivering controlled heat deep into the subdermal layers, it triggers a "remodeling" of collagen and adipose tissue. This dual-action technology is the gold standard for non-surgical skin tightening, providing a lifted, more contoured appearance without the downtime of surgery.
Wellness injections are concentrated doses of essential vitamins, minerals, and animo acids that support overall health and well-being. They help replenish nutrients that your body naturally produces but may be deficient in due to stress, diet, lifestyle, or aging.
Your safety is our clinical priority. We do not recommend certain peels or microneedling if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, have used Accutane within the last 6 months, or have active cold sores. During your New Orleans skin consultation, we will review your medical history to ensure your treatment plan is both safe and effective.
Yes—we highly recommend it. A healthy skin canvas enhances the results of every medical treatment. We often pair Microneedling with PRP (the "Vampire Facial") or follow Botox with a Bespoke Facial (spaced appropriately) to ensure your results look rested, refined, and never "done."
Results typically last between 1-3 years depending on the area treated, skin type, lifestyle, and technique used. Brows may fade faster than lips or eyeliner.
Lumecca is the industry’s most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment designed to target pigmented and vascular lesions. It works through photothermolysis, delivering specific wavelengths of light that gently heat and break down irregularities like sun damage, age spots, and redness, allowing your body to naturally clear them away for a brighter complexion.
At Luxury Beauty Clinic, we use premium, FDA-approved hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvéderm and Restylane. These industry-leading injectables are chosen for their ability to integrate seamlessly with your natural tissue, providing soft, hydrated, and beautifully proportioned results for the lips, cheeks, and jawline.
The VI Peel is a pharmaceutical-grade, medium-depth chemical peel that reaches both the epidermis and the dermis. It uses a unique blend of TCA, Retinoic Acid, Salicylic Acid, and Vitamin C to dissolve damaged skin cells and stimulate a "healing cascade" of new collagen and elastin.
The Vampire Facial is a signature restorative treatment at Luxury Beauty Clinic in Metairie, LA. It combines medical-grade microneedling with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) sourced from your own blood. This "liquid gold" is rich in growth factors that, when infused into the skin, accelerate collagen production and cellular turnover for a dramatically smoother, more youthful complexion.
Evolve is the ultimate all-in-one platform for non-invasive body remodeling available at our Metairie clinic. This hands-free technology uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to target three key areas: skin tightening (Tite), fat reduction (Trim), and muscle toning (Tone). By delivering deep, controlled thermal energy, Evolve helps "remodel" your silhouette without a single incision.
We apply a professional-strength whitening gel to the surface of your teeth, which is then activated by a specialized LED light. This process gently breaks down deep stains and discoloration within the enamel, revealing a brighter shade beneath.
Evolve is incredibly versatile and designed to treat areas that are often resistant to diet and exercise. Our most requested treatments include the abdomen, "love handles" (flanks), thighs, buttocks, and arms. It is the perfect solution for those looking to firm skin and improve muscle definition for a more contoured, balanced physique.
While traditional treatments often focus on filling a single line or wrinkle, Facial Balancing treats the face as a three-dimensional canvas. Our expert injectors in Metairie look at how light hits your features and how your profile aligns. We focus on structural support—lifting and contouring from the foundation up—to ensure you look like a more refined version of yourself, never "over-filled."
In just 1-3 sessions, Lumecca significantly improves skin clarity and tone. It is highly effective for treating:
• Sun damage and hyperpigmentation (brown spots)
• Rosacea and chronic facial redness
• Vascular lesions like spider veins (telangiectasias)
• Freckles and uneven skin texture
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all menus. During your consultation at our Metairie clinic, we perform a meticulous skin analysis. Whether you are addressing the effects of the Louisiana humidity, sun damage, or fine lines, we curate a plan—ranging from Hydrodermabrasion to Microneedling—tailored specifically to your skin’s chemistry.
At Luxury Beauty Clinic, we offer both traditional PRP and the next-generation PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin). While PRP provides a quick release of growth factors, PRF is processed to create a natural fibrin scaffold that releases nutrients more slowly over several days. This makes PRF an excellent "natural filler" for delicate areas like under-eye hollows and long-term skin rejuvenation.
By creating controlled micro-channels in the skin, the Vampire Facial allows PRP to penetrate deep into the dermis. This triggers a powerful healing response that effectively resurfaces the skin. It is one of our most requested treatments for diminishing acne scars, refining large pores, and softening fine lines, providing results that synthetic treatments simply cannot replicate.
Surprisingly, no. While you may feel a slight tingle or warmth during the first few minutes of application, the VI Peel contains a numbing agent that makes the process virtually painless and very comfortable compared to traditional peels.
Unlike oral supplements, wellness injections are administered directly into the muscle, allowing for faster absorption and higher bioavailability. This means your body gets the full benefit of the nutrients without losing potency during digestion.
Surprisingly, no. While you may feel a slight tingle or warmth during the first few minutes of application, the VI Peel contains a numbing agent that makes the process virtually painless and very comfortable compared to traditional peels.
Our signature approach to lip enhancement is rooted in facial balancing. Rather than simply adding volume, our expert injectors focus on refining your natural lip border and correcting asymmetry. We prioritize your unique anatomy to ensure your results are subtle, elegant, and never overdone.
Two sessions are usually needed and are highly recommended. The first session is your initial appointment, followed by a perfecting touch-up appointment 8-12 weeks later.
Morpheus8 is incredibly versatile and can be used on any area that benefits from sub-dermal renewal. Our most popular treatments include facial contouring (jawline and submental tightening), smoothing wrinkles on the neck and décolletage, and tightening skin on the body—such as the abdomen or knees. It is also an elite solution for reducing the appearance of acne scarring and stretch marks.
Most clients see a transformation of 3 to 8 shades in just one session. Results vary based on your starting shade and the nature of your staining, but our goal is always a result that looks vibrant yet natural.
Every treatment is bespoke, but we often focus on the "golden ratio" of the face. This may include chin augmentation to improve the profile, cheek contouring to lift the mid-face, and jawline refinement to create a clear distinction between the face and neck. At Luxury Beauty Clinic, we curate a plan that brings your best features into focus.
While both enhance the appearance of your pout, they serve different purposes. Dermal filler adds physical volume and structural shape to the lips. Lip Blushing, a form of permanent makeup, adds custom pigment to define the edges and provide a constant, healthy flush of color. Many of our clients combine these services for the ultimate "low-maintenance" lip.
Lumecca is safe for all body areas, especially those frequently exposed to the sun. Most clients at Luxury Beauty Clinic treat the face, neck, décolletage, hands, and arms to maintain a consistent, youthful appearance across the body.
While traditional microneedling creates surface-level channels to stimulate healing, Morpheus8 RF Microneedling goes deeper—up to 4mm. The addition of radiofrequency energy provides a "shrink-wrap" effect to the skin, making it far more effective for structural lifting, deep wrinkle reduction, and skin resurfacing than microneedling alone.
Yes! Inclusivity is central to our mission at Luxury Beauty Clinic. All VI Peel formulas are safe for ALL skin tones (Fitzpatrick I-VI). It is one of the few professional peels that can effectively treat hyperpigmentation in melanin-rich skin without the risk of PIH (Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation).
The touch-up perfects shape and color, fills in any areas where your skin didn't retain the color pigment, and ensures the best long-term results. We offer two types of perfecting touch-up appointments.
Perfecting touch-up appointment 8-12 weeks following your initial session ensures color retention, shape adjustments, and perfection of initial treatment.
A color boost touch-up appointment 4-14 months following your initial session to refresh, adjust and/or maintain color vibrancy and shape.

While standard microneedling is excellent for general rejuvenation, the addition of PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) "supercharges" the results. The growth factors in PRP act as an accelerator for tissue repair, leading to faster healing times and more significant improvements in skin brightness and firmness compared to microneedling alone.
Yes, PRP is a highly effective, non-surgical solution for hair thinning. When injected into the scalp, the growth factors nourish dormant follicles and increase blood flow, leading to improved hair density and strength. It is a powerful tool for those looking to restore their hairline using their body’s own biological resources.
One of the most refined aspects of Evolve is that it is a zero-downtime procedure. During the session, you will feel a warming sensation similar to a hot stone massage. Immediately afterward, you can return to your daily routine in Metairie or New Orleans—making it the ideal "lunchtime" treatment for a busy lifestyle.
Yes! ALL VI Peel treatments are safe and effective for ALL skin tones. Inclusivity is central to our brand and mission, and all Vitality Institute products are created for and with skin of color in mind.
We prioritize results that are as effortless as they are empowering. Microneedling typically involves 24–48 hours of mild redness, resembling a light sunburn. For VI Peels, your skin will look "glowy and tan" immediately, with the intentional peeling process occurring on days 3 and 4. We provide a luxury aftercare kit with every peel to ensure your healing is seamless.
Dermapen Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, uses a motorized device with ultra-fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These tiny punctures signal the body to produce a rush of fresh collagen and elastin, rebuilding the skin's foundation for a firmer, smoother appearance.
A color boost appointment is recommended every 12–24 months to keep the pigment fresh and shape defined. While each person is unique, we recommend that you wait at least 8 months after your initial session before booking a color boost appointment.
Please note that under some circumstances, some clients may need a color boost touch-up sooner (I.e. corrections, neutralizations, etc).
The Luxury Mini Facial includes:
• Deep skin cleanse
• Toning
• Light exfoliation
• Deluxe mask
• Scalp and neck massage
• Serum infusion
• Moisturizer
To ensure the best results and skin safety, you must avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least four weeks prior to your appointment. This reduces the risk of sensitivity and ensures the laser can accurately target only the unwanted pigment.
Most clients experience redness similar to a mild sunburn for 24 to 48 hours. Because we use your own natural plasma, the risk of adverse reactions is minimal. We provide a bespoke aftercare kit to ensure your skin remains hydrated and protected, allowing you to return to your refined daily routine with a signature "LBC glow" in just a few days.
Our signature Vampire Facial combines medical-grade microneedling with a topical application of your PRP. The microneedling creates tiny channels that allow the "liquid gold" growth factors to penetrate deep into the dermis. This treatment is ideal for smoothing acne scars, refining pores, and achieving a high-gloss, radiant complexion.
We offer five unique formulas to address a variety of goals:
• Hyperpigmentation & Melasma: Lifts stubborn pigment and sun damage.
• Aging Skin: Softens fine lines, wrinkles, and rough texture.
• Active Acne & Scarring: Clears congestion and fades post-acne marks.
• Overall Glow: Reinvigorates dull, collagen-depleted skin.
Anyone experiencing fatigue, slow metabolism, frequent illness, or nutrient deficiencies may benefit. They are also great for individuals with busy lifestyles, athletes, or those looking to enhance their overall wellness.
Most clients experience minor swelling or bruising at the injection site for 24 to 72 hours. We provide a bespoke aftercare protocol to minimize these effects, allowing you to return to your daily routine with confidence. We recommend scheduling your appointment at least two weeks before any major local events or photography.
At Luxury Beauty Clinic, your comfort is a priority. We use a desensitizing agent within our professional-grade gel to protect your enamel and minimize any "zingers" or post-treatment sensitivity often associated with DIY whitening.
We offer five unique formulas to address a variety of goals:
• Hyperpigmentation & Melasma: Lifts stubborn pigment and sun damage.
• Aging Skin: Softens fine lines, wrinkles, and rough texture.
• Active Acne & Scarring: Clears congestion and fades post-acne marks.
• Overall Glow: Reinvigorates dull, collagen-depleted skin.
Because we prioritize both results and your lifestyle, Morpheus8 is designed to be a high-impact, low-downtime procedure. Most clients in the New Orleans area experience mild redness and swelling for 1–3 days, similar to a moderate sunburn. We provide a tailored post-procedure regimen to ensure your skin remains hydrated and protected as it begins the collagen remodeling process.
While some clients notice a smoother appearance after just one session, we typically recommend a series of 3 to 6 treatments for transformative results. This allows the RF energy to consistently stimulate collagen production and muscle fiber toning. During your consultation, we will curate a bespoke schedule to help you reach your specific aesthetic goals.
Most clients experience minimal downtime. You may notice slight swelling or tenderness at the injection sites for 24 to 48 hours, but you can return to your refined daily routine in New Orleans immediately. We provide specific aftercare instructions to ensure your results settle beautifully and your comfort is prioritized.
We have 5 different VI Peel formulas that target your unique skin issues and goals. Our trusted and experienced team will be able to recommend the peel that is best for you based on analyzing your skin and concerns.
Typically, you will leave the clinic with a "tan" or "glowy" look. Peeling usually begins on Day 3 and is mostly complete by Day 6 or 7. We provide you with a comprehensive LBC aftercare kit and a specialized app to track your progress and ensure your skin is nourished throughout the renewal process.
Many clients notice an immediate "glow" and initial tightening within the first few days. However, the most transformative results appear between 3 to 6 months as your body produces new, stronger collagen and elastin. We typically recommend a series of 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart for optimal, long-lasting facial rejuvenation.
Because we use high-quality, long-lasting hyaluronic acid fillers, results typically endure for 12 to 18 months, depending on the products used and your individual metabolism. We recommend a maintenance schedule to keep your facial harmony consistent and your skin looking perpetually replenished.
With proper care, your professional whitening can last several months. We recommend avoiding dark-colored foods and beverages (like red wine or coffee) for the first 24–48 hours to allow the pores in your enamel to close and lock in your new radiance.
Unlike treatments that rely on freezing fat, Evolve uses RF heat to simultaneously tighten the skin while reducing fat cells. This is a critical advantage; while fat loss is great, Evolve ensures the skin looks firm and youthful afterward, rather than loose. It provides a more comprehensive "remodeling" of the body’s natural architecture.
We customize everything to your features and preferences. We map your shape according
to your bone structure, facial features such as hair, brow, eye color, and tones and use pigments
that complement your skin tone and undertone.
During the procedure, you will experience a bright flash of light and a sensation similar to a light elastic band snap. Post-treatment, slight redness and warmth are normal and typically subside within an hour. You can return to your normal activities immediately, though you should avoid intense heat and sun for 48 hours.

• Tri-Immune Boost Injection- A blend of Vitamin C, Zinc, and Glutathione to strengthen the immune system and combat oxidative stress.

• Skinny Shot (Lipo-Mino C, B12, MICC)- A powerful combination of metabolism-boosting and fat-burning nutrient to support weight loss and energy levels.
Each injection is designed to address specific health needs.
During your visit, we'll help you select the best option for your wellness goals.
Longevity depends on the specific product used and your individual metabolism. Generally, lip fillers last between 6 to 12 months, while fillers used for structural areas like the chin or jawline can last up to 18 months. Regular maintenance appointments at our Metairie office help preserve your refined profile.
transformative results, we typically recommend a series of 3 to 4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart. This timeline allows your skin’s collagen architecture to rebuild and strengthen. During your consultation in our Metairie clinic, we will curate a personalized plan tailored to your specific skin goals and concerns.
While many clients notice a "post-treatment glow" within days, regenerative results like collagen remodeling and hair growth take time. We typically recommend a series of 3 to 4 sessions spaced about a month apart. Because we prioritize a customized approach, your specialist will curate a timeline designed to meet your specific aesthetic goals.
The benefits of Luxury Beauty Clinic's HydraFacial are:
• Deeply cleanses and exfoliates using Glycolic or Salicylic acids
• Removes blackheads, oil, and impurities
• Helps with acne and congestion
• Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
• Improves skin texture and tone
• Gives an instant glow with no downtime
Unlike many older laser technologies, Morpheus8 is uniquely safe for all skin types, including darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick IV-VI). Because it uses Radiofrequency (RF) rather than light-based energy, there is a significantly lower risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. At Luxury Beauty Clinic, we customize the depth and energy levels to ensure every Metairie client receives a safe, effective, and refined result.
Your comfort is our priority. Because the Dermapen uses a high-speed, vertical oscillating motor, the treatment is much faster and more comfortable than traditional microneedling. We also apply a medical-grade topical numbing cream prior to your service to ensure a virtually painless experience.
For sun damage and skin complexion, initial results are often visible within a few days. Pigmented spots may darken and flake off over the first week, revealing clearer skin beneath. Optimal results for both pigmentation and vascular treatments are typically seen 1-2 weeks after the session.
MEMBERSHIP DUES WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED TO MEMBER'S BANK ACCOUNT/CREDIT CARD ON THE DAY OF PURCHASE AND WILL REOCCUR THERE AFTER OR CAN BE CHOSEN BY MEMBER HOLDER TO BE DRAFTED ON A SPECIFIC DATE OF THE MONTH.
Absolutely. We often recommend the "ToxBooster™"—combining your VI Peel with a neurotoxin (like Botox or Dysport) in a single visit. This duo targets both surface texture and deeper expression lines for a comprehensive, sophisticated result.
We do not recommend permanent makeup if you have used Accutane within the last 6 months, have a skin condition (eczema, psoriasis) on the treatment area, are undergoing chemotherapy, or if you have uncontrolled diabetes.
You will need doctor approval for any form of permanent makeup if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
One of the greatest benefits of PRP is that it uses your own biology, minimizing the risk of adverse reactions. You may experience minor swelling or bruising at the injection site for 24–48 hours, but most clients return to their refined daily routines immediately. We provide a tailored aftercare plan to ensure your recovery is as effortless as your results.
Everyone’s skin is a little different, and the number of peels needed for desired results varies from person to person, and from skin condition to skin condition. While just a single peel will achieve significant skin rejuvenation (think less pigment, smoother skin texture, and brighter, glowier skin overall), in general, we recommend a series of 3-6 peels for optimal results. Make sure to consult with your healthcare professional to find a VI Peel treatment frequency that’s right for you.
A hydrodermabrasion facial stimulates collagen production, reduces fine lines and hyperpigmentation, and is ideal for sensitive skin.
Frequency varies depending on individual needs. Some clients benefit from weekly injections, while others refer bi-weekly or monthly treatments. Our experts can recommend a personalized plan for you.
Whitening treatments are designed to lift stains from natural tooth enamel. They will not change the color of crowns, veneers, or composite fillings. During your consultation, we will assess your smile to ensure an even, beautiful result.
Most clients experience a mild "sunburn" sensation and slight redness for 24 to 48 hours. Because the Dermapen creates clean, vertical channels rather than jagged tears, the skin heals remarkably fast. You can typically return to your normal routine within a day or two with a personalized LBC aftercare plan.
PRP and PRF are perfect for the "naturalist" client—someone looking to improve skin quality, volume loss, or hair density without permanent alterations. It is safe for all skin types and is especially effective for those who want a holistic, bioactive alternative to traditional dermal fillers.
Yes! Our injections are composed of vitamins and nutrients that your body naturally recgonizes. They are administered by trained professionals to ensure safety and effectiveness.
EACH MEMBERSHIP IS A SIX MONTH COMMITMENT. OUR OFFICE MUST RECEIVE A 30 DAY CANCELATION NOTICE PRIOR TO WHEN THE CLIENT WOULD LIKE TO STOP AUTODRAFT PAYMENTS. A $100 EARLY CANCELATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED UPON CANCELATION.
We utilize specialized, interchangeable tips to customize your treatment. While the standard tips focus on deep subdermal renewal (up to 4mm), the resurfacing tip targets the most superficial layers of the skin. By pairing these, we can simultaneously lift the deeper tissues while erasing surface-level imperfections like fine lines, rough texture, and enlarged pores for a complete "top-to-bottom" transformation.
While significant improvement is often noted after just one session, a series of 3 treatments is generally recommended for transformative results. Your custom plan will depend on the severity of skin damage and your specific goals for clarity and tone.
Immediately after the peel, your skin may look slightly tan and glowy. You will not look much different and should be okay going about your regular daily routine.
Yes! The Luxury Beauty Clinic Ultimate Luxury Experience Facial is fully customizable based on your skin's unique needs. It can be tailored based on what you're looking for (example: hydration, anti-aging, deep cleansing).
While you will see a notable difference in just seven days, we generally recommend a series of 3 to 4 peels spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for optimal results, especially when treating deep pigmentation or acne scarring.
To maintain your clinical results while protecting your enamel, we generally recommend professional whitening sessions every 6 to 12 months, depending on your lifestyle and habits.
When done properly by a trained professional, permanent makeup should not cause scar tissue. Luxury Beauty Clinic uses use a very precise technique and soft approach in order to protect the skin.
Yes! At Luxury Beauty Clinic, we often recommend a "360 approach." Combining IPL for surface pigment with Morpheus8 for deep skin tightening can provide a complete facial rejuvenation. We will help you curate a treatment timeline that maximizes your results.
We use the Beaming White System, a professional light-activated system that combines the strongest, freshest gels with our high-powered Futura 2400 blue LED teeth whitening light.

Generally, the VI Peel is a safe and effective treatment for most. However, there are a few contraindications that disqualify you from receiving the VI Peel. Please note that the below list is not an extensive list, and we always recommend you consult your healthcare professional before starting any new skincare regimen or treatment.
• Those who are pregnant or who are breastfeeding
• Those who have an aspirin, hydroquinone, or phenol allergy
• Those who have used oral isotretinoin (Accutane) within the past 6 months
• Those who have active cold sores, warts, open wounds, or history of herpes simplex
• Those who are undergoing chemotherapy and or radiation therapy within 6 months. Those with a history of an autoimmune (i.e. Lupus) or liver disease/disorder, as well as, any condition that may weaken their immune system
We will evaluate your skin type, preferences/goals, and lifestyle to recommend the most suitable technique—like powder brows vs. nano, or lipstick effect vs. lip blush or lip liner, or
lash liner vs. eyeliner.
The Luxury Mini Facial is a condensed version of Luxury Beauty Clinic's signature Ultimate Luxury Experience Facial. It focuses on cleansing and hydration in a shorter session.
Absolutely. This is our signature "LBC Vampire Facial." By pairing the Dermapen with your own Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), we allow those powerful growth factors to penetrate deep into the micro-channels, dramatically accelerating healing and collagen production for the ultimate glow.
At Luxury Beauty Clinic, we believe in the power of biological restoration. While traditional dermal fillers provide immediate structural volume, they are subject to the "law of gravity" and can occasionally migrate or feel heavy over time. PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) offers a more sustainable, long-term alternative by utilizing your body’s own anti-aging agents to regenerate tissue and collagen. Instead of just filling a space, PRP revitalizes the skin’s foundation, creating a refined, youthful appearance that looks—and feels—completely natural.
Most clients experience minimal discomfort, similar to a quick pinch. The injection process is fast, and we use fine needles to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
Your comfort is a cornerstone of the LBC experience. For all Morpheus8 treatments in our Metairie office, we apply a high-potency topical numbing cream prior to the procedure. Most clients describe the sensation as a warm, prickly feeling. We go above and beyond to ensure the environment is relaxing and the process is as effortless as possible.
NO, IF ANY OR ALL SERVICES THAT ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY ARE NOT USED DURING THE START AND FINISH DATE OF THE MONTH, THESE SERVICES ARE ONLY APPLICABLE TO THE MEMBERSHIP HOLDER.
We use high-quality topical numbing agents to keep you comfortable throughout the duration of your appointment. Numbing will start to wear off towards the end of your session and you might feel mild discomfort, but not pain.
Lumecca is optimized for a range of light-to-medium skin tones. During your consultation, we will assess your skin type using the Fitzpatrick scale to ensure that IPL is the safest and most effective option for your unique complexion.
- Pregnant or lactating women
- People with poor enamel or decalcification caused by excessive use of fluorides
- People with periodontal disease including gingivitis or gums in poor condition
- People who wear braces or who had their braces removed less than 6 months ago
- People who recently had oral surgery
- People with decaying teeth or exposed roots
- People with open cavities
- People with a history of allergic reactions to peroxide products
- People with silver fillings in, near or behind the front teeth
- People under the age of 14
Some people feel a difference within hours, while others notice gradual improvements over a few days. Consistent treatments provide the best long-term benefits.
While you may notice a brighter complexion within a week, the most transformative results occur as new collagen builds over several months. We typically recommend a series of 3 to 6 treatments, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, depending on your specific skin concerns.
If a series is recommended, the VI Peel is suitable to receive every 4-6 weeks as directed by your Practitioner. Your Practitioner will be able to create your own unique skincare plan for your skincare needs. You can also have the VI Peels quarterly/seasonally and receive 4 peels a year for the maintenance of healthy skin.
Absolutely. At Luxury Beauty Clinic, we often recommend "stacking" treatments to address the skin at different depths. Our premier pairing is Microneedling with PRP, frequently referred to as the LBC Vampire Facial. By creating micro-channels in the skin, we allow your "liquid gold" growth factors to penetrate deeper into the dermis, dramatically accelerating cell regeneration and turning back the clock on fine lines and texture.
Yes, the Luxury Mini Facial is perfect for busy clients who want a quick yet effective skincare boost!
Morpheus8 is actually one of the most effective treatments for active cystic acne and acne scarring. The RF energy helps to shrink the sebaceous (oil) glands, reducing future breakouts, while the microneedling heals the structural damage left behind by old scars. It’s a powerful tool for those looking to clear their complexion and tighten their skin simultaneously.
Yes. Home rollers often use shorter, duller needles that enter the skin at an angle, causing unnecessary trauma and "track-mark" scarring. The professional-grade Dermapen offers clinical precision, sterile single-use cartridges, and adjustable depths that a home device simply cannot match.
Yes, a HydraFacial can help with acne and clogged pores. The suction technology helps remove blackheads, excess oil, and dead skin cells, which helps prevent breakouts while infusing the skin with custom serums.
TO ELIMINATE THIS ISSUE, WE RECOMMEND TO BOOK STANDING APPOINTMENTS FOR THE SERVICES YOU VALUE THE MOST THAT ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR MEMBERSHIP EACH MONTH. UNFORTUNATELY, MEMBERSHIP SERVICES ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR REDEMPTION MONTH BY MONTH (USED OR UNUSED).
Yes! Many of our clients combine injections for enhanced results. During your visit, we'll help you choose the best combination for your health goals.
To protect your investment and ensure the most refined results, we prioritize two steps: intensive hydration and superior protection. Following your session at our Metairie clinic, we recommend keeping the treatment area deeply moisturized to support the skin’s natural healing barrier.
Additionally, daily use of a medical-grade, broad-spectrum sunscreen is non-negotiable. Beyond significantly reducing the risk of skin cancer, consistent sun protection is your most powerful tool in preventing premature wrinkles and slowing the aging process. By shielding your new collagen from UV damage, you ensure your LBC glow lasts as long as possible.
Tooth sensitivity is extremely rare when using our gels. Mild tissue (gum) irritation may occur during the whitening process. The discomfort typically subsides shortly after finishing the treatment.
Yes, the practitioner just needs to apply a barrier ointment to avoid lifting the pigment. The VI Peel can be done 10-14 days after new microblading, or when the skin has fully healed.

For those seeking total facial harmony, we often pair PRP with Dermal Fillers or Morpheus8. While Morpheus8 and fillers provide the structural lift and contour, PRP improves the actual quality and vitality of the skin surface. This multi-layered approach ensures your results are not just visible, but deeply restorative and long-lasting.
Initial surface healing takes about 7–14 days. Full healing from within (when you’ll see the
true color) can take up to 6 weeks. Silver skin normally occurs between week 1-4, which
makes the treated area appear more faded with a cooler undertone.
This medical-grade device is specifically designed to target:
• Acne Scarring & Pitted Scars: Our specialized protocols help smooth deep textures.
• Fine Lines & Anti-Aging: Naturally boost elastin to soften "crow's feet" and forehead lines.
• Hyperpigmentation & Sun Damage: Safe for all skin tones, unlike some heat-based lasers.
• Large Pores: Refine your skin's surface for an effortless, "filtered" look.

Purging or experiencing mild acne breakouts after getting a VI Peel is completely normal. This type of acne purging can happen after any exfoliating treatment, as the treatment increases cellular turnover, not only lifting dead skin cells but also allowing for any congestion that is trapped beneath the skin to come to the surface. It's important to remember that your acne may seem to get worse before getting better, and you may need multiple VI Peel treatments to resolve your acne. Purging of the skin will reduce with subsequent peels as congested pores become cleared.
Avoid sweating, direct sun exposure, and makeup/skin care on the area for 7–10 days. Keep
the area clean and apply healing ointment as instructed. Minimal peeling and flaking is
normal, but scabbing is not. Please refer to our aftercare instructions for more details.
You can request an appointment online, call our clinic, or visit us in person. Walk-ins are also welcome for quick and convenient service!

much deeper. Permanent makeup allows the area to be adjust and customized over time as your features and preference changes. Touch-ups are required to maintain the color and shape over time.

Post-facial "purging" is often a sign of a successful deep-cleansing ritual. Treatments like extractions and exfoliation bring trapped impurities to the surface to detoxify your pores. While this may cause temporary redness or minor blemishes, it is a vital part of the renewal process. We recommend a simple, soothing post-care routine to help your skin transition into its most radiant state.
Even on skin that may be normally oily, winter can often result in dryer skin during the post peel process. When experiencing these types of side effects, it is always best to consult with your healthcare provider to find a solution that works best for your skin. We typically recommend using a gentle hydrating cleanser, like the VI Derm Gentle Purifying Cleanser or Cetaphil, and using an occlusive balm like Aquaphor in addition to the Post Treatment Repair Cream (included in your Aftercare Kit). Don’t forget to drink lots of water!
Some itching during the peeling process is completely normal, and some may experience greater itchiness than others, particularly in the evening. This is also normal. Itchiness is also typically seen more frequently in dry or mature skin types. When itchiness occurs, apply a thin layer of the Post Treatment Repair Cream provided in your kit as needed. If you feel the Post Treatment Repair Cream is not helping, consult your practitioner. They may recommend you upgrade to a stronger hydrocortisone cream, which requires a prescription.
If you fail to follow any of the pre-treatment instructions or become sick or pregnant, call us immediately at 504.702.8322 so we can make the best decision on when and how to proceed with your treatment.

Lumecca is the most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) to treat pigmented and vascular lesions. After just one use, patients notice significant improvements in the complexion and clarity of the skin. Lumecca operates using photothermolysis, which provides
a photo facial through the delivery of a comfortable light treatment.
In just 1-3 sessions Lumecca improves the appearance of:
•Age spots (red/brown pigmentations)
•Vascular lesions such as facial telangiectasias (spider veins) and poikiloderma
•Rosacea (redness)
•Freckles
•Sun damage
In just 1-3 sessions Lumecca improves the appearance of:
•Age spots (red/brown pigmentations)
•Vascular lesions such as facial telangiectasias (spider veins) and poikiloderma
•Rosacea (redness)
•Freckles
•Sun damage
Lumecca can be used on all areas of the body. The most common areas of treatment are zones that are regularly exposed to the sun. This often includes the face, neck, décolletage, legs, hands and arms.
Avoid direct, excessive sun exposure or tanning one month prior to treatment.
During treatment there will be a bright flash of light from the Lumecca that feels like a light elastic sensation. Redness and a slight warming of the skin are normal after treatment and usually subsides within an hour. Over the next 24-48 hours you may see a darkening of pigmented spots; in the week afterwards, the pigmented lesions flake off, leading to an evening out of skin tone. After treating vascular lesions, you may see the vein blanch and disappear or a color change in the vessel which dissipates after a few days.
An improved skin appearance can be noted after the first session. Multiple sessions provide even better results. Treatment regime depends on the severity of skin damage, skin type, type of treatment (vascular vs sun damage) and energy settings.
Sun damage and skin complexion results can be seen a few days after the first session. The skin will continue to look younger and more brilliant over time with most visible results after 1-2 weeks. Having multiple photo facial sessions will improve the final result. For vascular treatments such as facial telangiectasias, results can be seen in up to 2 weeks.
We utilize our proprietary 25% hydrogen peroxide teeth whitening gel that is highly effective yet safe for sensitive teeth. The gel is too strong to use with whitening trays so we developed the original paint-on system in which the gel is carefully brushed onto the teeth with a built-in pen style applicator brush. Soft mouth tissue is protected with the use of a cheek retractor and vitamin E swabs.
We preform three back-to-back applications of 20-25 minutes each. The first application opens the pores in the enamel. The second application begins to visually whiten the teeth, and dramatic whitening results are achieved during the third application. We recommend following up with a take-home kit or pen to prevent color regression and further enhance the results.
We recommend the customer purchase Minerals Enamel Booster to seal in the results, alleviate any tooth sensitivity (if any), and to remineralize and strengthen the enamel.

When the inner structure of the tooth becomes darker or yellowed, the stain is more difficult to remove or, depending on its cause, may not be able to be removed at all. Here are some examples:
- Tetracycline (an antibiotic) causes intrinsic (meaning that it affects the inner structure of the tooth) staining, when used by children under age 8 or women in the last half of their pregnancy. These stains cannot be removed by bleaching.
- Fluorosis, a cosmetic dental condition that results from overexposure to fluoride during tooth development, also is not always successfully removed by bleaching. Mild to moderate fluorosis, characterized by lines, streaks or spots, can be made less obvious by using whitening products or methods. However, in more severe cases of fluorosis, bleaching will not work.
- A third type of stain is called "age-related." It's a combination of intrinsic and extrinsic factors. As we age, the dentin (the inner portion of the tooth) gets slightly yellow. This can become visible through the outer enamel as it gradually becomes thinner over time. Yellow stains are the easiest to remove with bleaching. Gray or black stains tend to be more difficult. Generally, stains that are newly formed are easier to remove than older stains.
- Artificial dental work such as crowns, bonding, caps, veneers, bridges or composite fillings will also NOT respond to bleaching. Teeth whitening gel will only whiten natural, live teeth. Artificial teeth will not be whitened, but they won't be damaged by the peroxide.
Generally, the treatment will last between 1-2 years.
However, the length of time the results last depends on your personal consumption of staining beverages and foods. For example coffee, tea, red wine, colas and other darkening agents such as tobacco, can cause a relapse. It also depends on the client's quality of enamel. Those who have porous enamel will be more vulnerable to staining beverages and food.
Follow these after care instructions for the first 14 days post to your procedure. The entire healing process will take from 4-6 weeks and varies depending on how your body's regeneration, age, immune system and lifestyle. The way you take care of your new brows will have a huge impact on the way they look once healed. Improper after are can result in fading or patchy brows.
• Upon leaving your appointment, monitor your brows every 30 minutes or so for the following hours. Apply A&D ointment with a Q-tip starting the night of your procedure before bed and continue this application morning and night for 14 days post procedure. This will help the treated area stay moisturized for the rest of the recovery period and heal properly. Avoid petroleum jelly and Vaseline as it can block your skin from breathing.
• The following night after your procedure you will start your gentle cleanse after and outside of the shower before bed. Before cleansing, thoroughly wash and dry your hands. Use your fingertips to gently clean the treated area with a small amount of soft, unscented, anti-bacterial soap that is provided in your aftercare packet. Make sure to gently cleanse the area thoroughly, breaking up any bacteria, degree, pigment, fluid and blood that is sitting on your brows. Rinse the soap off of your brows then Pat dry with a disposable tissue, paper towel or gauze (nothing cotton based) . Ideally, clean your brows before bed. Properly cleaning the treated area is essential for retaining pigment and preventing infection. If the treated area is not continually cleaned, dead skin will build up and produce hard scabs causing rapid pigment loss.
• Scabbing is normal. Do not rub or pick at the epithelial crust; allow the dead skin to flake off naturally. The treated area might feel a little ticklish or like a mild sunburn during the first phase of the recovery process. Rubbing/Picking can cause infection and bald spots.
• Do not expose the treated area to water pressure in the shower. DO NOT clean the treated area during or directly after bathing. Heat from the water or steam helps to relax and cleanse pores making the skin prone to pigment loss. Wait at least 1.5 hours after bathing to clean the treated area or clean before bathing.
• Do not soak the treated area in the bath, swimming pool or hot tub. Do not swim in fresh, salt or chlorinated pool water until your brows are completely healed.
• NO tanning beds, spray tans direct sun, excessive sweating in the gym for at least 2 weeks. If high-impact activities cannot be avoided, use a sweatband to absorb any perspiration.
• Absolutely no scrubbing, exfoliation, cleansing creams or harsh chemicals.
• Avoid using sponges and makeup brushes while healing. If putting on makeup, use clean fingertips to apply around the treated areas.
• Avoid sleeping on treated area while healing. If it is uncomfortable or difficult to refrain from sleeping on the treated area, use Tegaderm Film.
• If you are a blood donor, do not donate for 1 year following your procedure. (American Red Cross guidelines).
Remember, this is a healing process and you will see dramatic changes over the next 4-6 weeks. In the beginning you might have intense, wash out (our term is "silver skin") as if your brows did not retain the color. Usually, by week 4 you should start to see the final results and the true color will show. After healing, the brows should be lighter because of natural skin regeneration and look more natural. Even with proper care, clients can still develop bald spots or loose hair strokes that may appear uneven. This is why a perfecting touch-up appointment is vital to assure your brows are perfectly even, and the desired effect was achieved. If you have any other questions or concerns not addressed above please contact us at 504.702.8322.

Immediately following your chemical peel:
• Do not use any skincare products that have not been approved by your licensed esthetician or physician.
• Your treatment was finished with IMAGE products that are safe to be left on your skin for the evening.
• You may start your post treatment kit the next morning or the I RESCUE post treatment balm as recommended by your practitioner.
1-7 days after your chemical peel:
Mornings:
• Cleanse your face with ORMEDIC® balancing facial cleanser using warm water
• Apply ILUMA™ intense lightening serum all over the face to calm and lighten post treatment skin
• Protect skin with PREVENTION + ultimate protection moisturizer SPF 50, reapply as needed
Evenings:
• Cleanse your face with ORMEDIC® balancing facial cleanser, using warm water
• Apply the MAX™ stem cell crème all over the face for optimal correction, protection and nutrition while the skin is at rest
*VITAL C hydrating enzyme masque may be applied 2-3 times during the week to reduce any visible shedding/flaking, while infusing the skin with antioxidants to protect and hydrate.
General after care instructions for chemical peels:
• Do not do anything that will cause your body to become heated or to perspire. This may lead to inflammation and/or breakout (Exercise, sauna, hot tubs, etc.)
• Always use warm water on your face and do not scrub.
• Avoid chlorine.
• You may or may not experience some visual flaking or shedding of the skin approximately 2-4 days post peel. The amount of visual flaking is not indicative of your end results. If heavier shedding is present, do not under any circumstances, pick or manually peel the skin.
• You must take precautions to avoid sun exposure in order to protect your skin as well as to get the full benefit of the peel. Peels increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Exposure to UV rays can cause hyper-pigmentation, freckling and sun damage. We recommend that you stay indoors as much as possible and use PREVENTION + ultimate protection moisturizer SPF 50 daily.
• Do not use any glycolic, retinol, or Retinol-A for 5-7 days or until your skin is back to normal. This is the reason the post treatment kit is recommended, providing the proper at home care post peel. You can resume your regular at home IMAGE regimen after the 5-7 days. This time may vary depending on the peel performed and each individual’s healing process.
• For men, do not shave for at least 48 hours after peel.
To avoid injury to the skin, avoid these behaviors for the 10 days following your chemical peel:
• Peel, pick, scrape or abrade the skin
• Have an electrolysis or laser treatment
• Use tanning beds or sunbathe
• Perform certain hair services using chemicals
• Facial wax, thread or use depilatory products
• Receive aesthetic injections
• Have another treatment until your esthetician advises you to do so
Slight redness or swelling might occur immediately after the chemical peel. This usually goes away within 24-hours. Some clients experience temporary skin discoloration. In rare cases you may have an area of scabbing or crusting in cases of severe sensitivity. If bothersome, you may apply Aquaphor to the affected area. Call your esthetician immediately if any of these conditions do not resolve within 24-hours.
For best results, a series of 6-8 peels at 2-4 week intervals is suggested. Using the correct at home care regimen to keep the results and corrections on going is also suggested. Your esthetician will help you decide which program works best for you, as they vary based on skin conditions.
Follow these after care instructions carefully for the first 4-7 and some steps even after days post to your procedure. The entire healing process will take from 4-6 weeks and varies depending on how your body's regeneration, age, immune system and lifestyle. The way you take care of your skin during this healing process will have a huge impact on your results.

This will help the treated area stay moisturized for the rest of the recovery period and heal properly. Avoid petroleum jelly and Vaseline, or any other non approved products as some products can block your skin from breathing and cause breakouts.
• Small red dots, red patchy areas and minor flaking are all normal. Do not rub or pick at the epithelial crust; allow the skin to heal naturally. The treated area might feel a little ticklish or like a mild sunburn during the first phase of the recovery process (second day). Rubbing/Picking can cause irritation, further inflammation and infection thus extending the recovery.

Results and changes in tightness and improved texture may be noticed as early as 4-6 weeks. Morpheus treatments must be done atleast 6 weeks apart to allow the skin and underlying tissue to heal. Best results are seen 3 months during and 12 months after the recommended 3 consecutive sessions. SkinPen by Crown Aesthetics is the first FDA-cleared microneedling device in the world, clinically proven to safely and effectively fighting the appearance of neck wrinkles and facial acne scars for ages 22 and up. With as few as three non-invasive and affordable treatments spaced 30 days apart, you can improve your appearance for six months after your last treatment – and step out with confidence.
SkinPen creates hundreds to thousands of “micro” skin punctures per second to stimulate the skin’s natural wound healing process – inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling – to prompt tissue remodeling without causing scar tissue formation. Most patients can return to normal activities within 24 hours.
SkinPen is clinically proven to fight the appearance of neck wrinkles and reduce the appearance of acne scars. In fact, 90% of subjects in the clinical trial would recommend the treatment to friends and family. It’s a minimally invasive procedure performed in-office with little to no downtime. As the first FDA-cleared microneedling device, SkinPen sets the industry standard for safety.
Unlike some alternatives, SkinPen has been clinically proven to be effective for women and men with with all Fitzpatrick Skin Types I – VI. Likewise, unlike lasers or chemical peels that can damage skin over the long term, SkinPen treatments, when properly spaced and overseen by a physician, can be used for years.
Yes, by design. SkinPen’s patented – and single-use – sterile needle cartridge is built with safety in mind. SkinPen is also surrounded by a custom-designed BioSheath that acts as a barrier to prevent cross contamination between procedures. That’s part of the reason SkinPen by Crown Aesthetics is the world’s first FDA-cleared microneedling device. Learn more by reviewing our patient labeling document.
SkinPen should not be used on patients who have active skin cancer in the treatment area(s); open wounds, sores, or irritated skin in the treatment area(s); an allergy to stainless steel or anesthetics; a hemorrhagic (bleeding) disorder or hemostatic (bleeding) dysfunction; are pregnant or nursing; or are currently taking drugs with the ingredient isotretinoin (such as Accutane). Talk to your doctor to see if this treatment is right for you.
Microneedling procedures tend to cost less than the alternatives, due to their non-invasive nature. The cost of SkinPen procedures varies depending on the size and the number of treatment areas. During your consultation, your physician can develop a plan to work within your budget.
Quite a bit. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s clearance covers not only the SkinPen device but the entire protocol. That includes the Skinfuse® Lift HG hydrogel used to protect against abrasion and friction during the treatment, as well as the custom-designed BioSheath to prevent cross contamination.
There is a ONE time, non-refundable $200 consultation fee due upon booking. We then conduct the initial consultation in the office.
The price of Semaglutide or Tirzepatide varies depending on the dosage, which can range between $250-$500. The amount prescribed is completely dependent on a patient-to-patient basis and is recommended in office based on the patient's unique needs and goals. We require payment in full for RX, at time of your appointment. Per law, prescriptions are non-refundable and non-returnable. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover Semaglutide or Tirzepatide for weight loss, and Luxury Beauty Clinic does not bill these drugs to insurance.
Both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are effective weight loss medications, but they work slightly differently. Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist, while Tirzepatide activates both GLP-1 and GIP receptors, enhancing fat metabolism and insulin release. Tirzepatide has shown greater weight loss potential (up to 22% of body weight vs. 15% with Semaglutide) and may cause less nausea. Both are once-weekly injections that slow digestion, reduce appetite, and improve blood sugar control. Choosing the right one depends on your goals—Luxury Beauty Clinic offers both with personalized guidance. Book a consultation to get started!
Like most weight loss solutions, results vary depending on lifestyle adjustments. Therefore, we highly recommend a healthy diet and eating habits paired with your Semaglutide or Tirzepatide injections. This will ultimately help insure maximum results. Also, we recommend that you drink plenty of fluids and stay on the weekly injection schedule.
FVPS has considerable experience in weight loss programs, and can determine if this weight loss program is right for you. These conditions disqualify you from Semaglutide/Tirzepatide:
• Anyone with a personal or family history of thyroid cancer
• Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma
• Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)
• Patients with a history of severe allergic reaction to Semaglutide or its ingredients
• Patients who experience inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), gallbladder problems (including gallstones), symptoms of pancreatitis or gallstones, low blood sugar, acute kidney injury, diabetic retinopathy (damage to the eye’s retina), or increased heart rate.
• Breast Feeding/Pregnant
• BMI<20
The most common side effects are mild, and tend to improve with time as the body adjusts to the medication. Nevertheless, you should always check with us if side effects are bothersome, or if you have questions about them. Common side effects include:
• Nausea
• Diarrhea
• Vomiting
• Constipation
• Stomach (abdomen) pain
• Headache
• Fatigue (tiredness)
• Heartburn
• Bloating, burping, or gas
• Injection site pain
• Indigestion
• Burning feeling in the chest or stomach
More serious side effects may include: pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, kidney problems, serious allergic reactions, increased heart rate, and depression.
You can prevent or lessen the side effects by paying attention to what you eat. For example, fried, fatty and sugary foods, tend to be harder for your body to digest and most likely to cause nausea. Because pairing vitamin B6 to your treatment can help mitigate some of these side effects, we offer vitamin B injections for an additional cost. Above all, keep us informed of your symptoms to help with determining the dosage for the next week.
• Eat slowly in order to feel fuller faster.
• Take smaller meals will help avoid nausea.
• Drink a glass of water with one tablespoon Metamucil or Citrucel daily for constipation.
• Avoid fried, greasy, or sugary foods that are harder and longer to digest.
• OTC Omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, helps to counteract acid reflux.
• Take Reacted Magnesium daily for constipation.
• Liquid IV (electrolytes) neutralizes acids in your stomach, helping decrease reflux/nausea.
Order fulfillment can take one week excluding shipping time. Also, beware of the shipping times when ordering subsequent refills so that you do not run out of medicine. If you need to change the day of the week for the injection, it is not a problem as long as the last dose was given at least two days prior.
After the required in person consultation the patient will self-inject weekly in the privacy of their homes. However, we can inject for you for a $30 injection fee with the medication from your prescriptive vial of Semaglutide or Tirzepatide. Thereafter, the patient will come in once monthly for a follow up exam and to renew their prescription!
In order to continue with the program, patients need to check in monthly for progress reports. As such, we want to know your symptoms and progress so that we can advise you on the dosing of the drugs for the next month. Dosing can vary by month depending on your results and symptoms. Most importantly, failure to comply with our monthly check in requirement will result in us not refilling your prescription.
This is for your safety!
